The chalet is a 1788 Italian built barn that was lovingly renovated by two architect brothers. The 320sqm chalet has 6 rooms laid out in the original stone base and a grand living space under the original wooden frame.
Garden level
Direct access from the garden to the ski room. This room is equipped with boot/ski shoe dryer and heater; guests can slip out of their skis and directly into their warm slippers, making their way to the cozy and well deserved couches by the fire upstairs. There are three parking spaces in front of the house.
Entrance level
There are 4 master bedrooms with bathrooms and two king-sized bedrooms with bathtubs. Every room is wholly unique: choose between the Greek inspired bedroom to the hidden bedroom (behind the bookshelf) to the Finnish room.
Four rooms have full bathrooms and two rooms have enormous bathtubs and sinks. Their is an additional independent toilet.
A 15m tall bookshelf and staircase connects the lower and the upper floor.
Ski-slope level
Awaiting guests is a huge airy and open living room with bay windows that opens onto a long balcony overlooking the Pointe d'Angollon and the Terres Maudites. The living room has incredibly comfortable couches for reading, cards/family games (provided in the library), animated late-night discussions for large groups - all around a roaring fireplace.
The Japanese inspired kitchen is fully equipped with professional Kitchen Aid appliances. It a house inside the house. The kitchen is perfect for having a more intimate meal and is surrounded by a bar to chat with the night's chefs. The kitchen looks over the six meter long oak table that can seat over 20 guests. Perfect for fondue dinners, or a local favorite: wild mushroom omelet.
